Since the last time I wrote about our exhibition we have come leaps and bounds.
We have now secured our venue and dates which is at the Kraak Gallery in Northern Quarter Manchester, and our exhibition will run from the 25-28th May. We decided on this venue because it looks like an interesting space and also we have quite a free reign over nailing and screwing into the walls. We didn't want to pick a space which we could only hang frames, and have no creative input. Our dates were also chosen because we didn't want it to open on the Friday which is our hand in day, and also it makes sense to start it on a bank holiday so people parents can visit.

Since I last spoke we also have our posters made and website created, because they were both waiting on us to sort out our venue and dates.
I think that our poster looks really professional, and we will now place them around town in shops and stuck to walls to try and attract people to our event.
As you can see on the bottom of the poster we also have our sponsors on there including One Nation clothing, who will provide us with clothes for shoots and also £100. Zeralynx printing who are printing off our catalogs and individual cards for free, and also AMM, who are donated £650 to our event.
Also on the bottom of our poster is the Jump charity logo, because we decided as a group that all our money that we raise should go towards a charity. This will make people more likely to help us out with our event and also donate money to the charity.
We are also holding a silent auction at our event while the exhibition is running and all those proceedings will go towards a large charity donation as well.
As well as the poster and venue being sorted, we now have our website up and running with all group members work, to give the potential viewers a sneak preview of what they are to expect at the exhibition, also this helps with us trying to advertise our event. We have a Facebook event which everyone has invited their friends and family on and also a professional website, where to view our individual photographs.
